Do you know that planes cruise at an altitude that is higher than the storm.

Seeing the sun rise above a dark landscape, knowing you are soaring bove the storm below, gives you a feeling of calm. perhaps even a metaphor, that if you step back from things and have a look at the, there may be a turmoil on the inside, but all is actually fine beyond.

It is true
I was walking in the airport today and one of the ladies who was promoting this perfume at Duty Free spritzed a tiny bit on my hand.
it is a mixture of tea and something sweet, and I love it.I think I may just pick up a bottle for myself when I return back home.

After that particularly long day and well deserved stack of movies, all you want is to curl up in your own bed.

But it is the middle of summer, and you just came from a home drenched in sweat because humdity levels were above 60 percent.

Because of air conditioning, your bed is cool and fresh and comfortable. And so easy to fall asleep in.

Ramadan timings

When you live in the city, getting to work usually involves a commute to and from work that can last an hour.

During this most holy month of Ramadan, traffic has reduced considerably, thus making the commute shorter.

This makes my life more bearable for a month.

The reduced time also gives me more time to invest in other activities. such as my blogging and business pursuit.

When you need to focus on something else, or you would liek to learn something new, movies are an excellent source.

Actors are artists and intellectuals. And they can open a new worl of discover with their performances. Not to forget the director, production team and the crew.

The smell of freshly cooked food

Dad has jus whipped up a simple yet aromatic dish of sardines, and it smells delicious. It is dinner time, so the smell is ven more intriguing.

I am grateful for a father who cares so much, that he cooks wholesome dinner for us on the weekends, and for one of my favorite seafood dishes, sebolado.
